Here, you’ll find the Ombudsman for Children's comments concerning the Swedish Government’s Report from 2002 to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child (the UN Committee).

In Sweden, the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (the CRC) has improved in many ways. More municipalities, county councils and Government authorities are familiar with the CRC and are seeking methods by which to acquire a better child perspective in their decision-making. 
Nevertheless, we can see several disturbing signals in our own statistics as well as in many reports.
